Payment must be made using the online registration. Sheer Elite International reserves the right to approve all payment arrangements. All billing issues must be resolved prior to the competition. We accept Visa, MC, Discover and American Express. A $50.00 fee will be applied towards returned checks due to insufficient funds, plus any other applicable bank fees.
Refund Policy
All competition and convention fees are non-refundable. Any credits due will be solely issued by Sheer Elite International.
Regional Title Competition
Registration Deadline
All Sheer Elite International competition and convention, forms must be submitted using the online registration 30 days prior to event. Competition and convention entries must be inclusive at the time of submission. Registration will not be processed without valid payment. Entries received after 30 days will be assessed a late fee of 10% on all balances and risk not being listed in the program. Please ensure accuracy of age and spelling of names and music. TBA is not allowed to be entered for dance styles, participants and/or competition entries. Any regional title participant may not also compete in a regional title in the same competition season at another Sheer Elite event.
Requirements
The Sheer Elite International Regional Title Competition is exclusively for Solos, at all age levels of competition: Small Wonders, Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen and Senior. Title Competition is for entries registered in the Dance category only. Title Competition is not separated by level. All dancers compete in the Elite Level for Regional Title Competition. A dancer can only enter 1 entry into the Regional Title Competition. This entry cannot also compete in the regular competition for overall awards. Every contestant much provide a high resolution headshot, emailed no later than 1 week prior to the event date to sheerelite@gmail.com. Failure to provide a headshot will result in a 2 point deduction.
Title Competition
At the Regional Title Competition, each dancer will take the stage before their performance and introduce themselves. They will state their name, age category that they are competing in, the name of the their entry, the style of their entry and a fun fact about themselves. They will then perform their entry to be adjudicated.
Scoring
Each entry will be adjudicated for a total of 300 points (100 points per judge) The winners will receive a title jacket, trophy and crown (for the Miss title winner). Dancers taking 2nd and 3rd place will receive a trophy. The top 10 in each age category will be invited to participate in the National Title Competition.
National Title Competition
Requirements
The Sheer Elite International National Title Competition is exclusively for solos, at all age levels of competition: Small Wonders, Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen and Senior. The Top 10 scoring in each age group at Regional Title or any soloist earring a Titanium or Diamond will be invited to participate in the National Title Competition. Title Competition is not separated by level. All dancers compete in the Elite Level for National Title Competition. Title Contestants must submit the national title entry form, along with a digital high resolution headshot emailed to sheerelite@gmail.com in addition to the national title fee. Headshots are not accepted by mail. The previous year's winner can perform in the opening number but cannot compete for title again in their age division. However, They can compete for title if they are moving up in the age category. Last years title winner's will assist with awards and can also assist the instructors in classes. They can perform an exit solo at the banquet and pass and present their title to the new title winner.
Regional Title Participants must register the same solo that they competed with in Regional Title competition. Other dancers who choose to participate who scored a Titanium or Diamond on their solo, must enter their highest scoring solo, if they competed multiple solos.

Chaperone
The Teacher of each participant is not required to register for national convention in 2023. However, each national title participant must be represented by a designated chaperone.
Title Fee
National Title participants must pay a title fee of $150.00 plus the convention fee. All dancers are required to purchase a banquet ticket. Anyone participating in the title competition will receive a tour convention scholarship for the 2023/24 season and one piece of dance apparel, as well as a trophy or participation medal depending on their placement.
Audition Class and Scoring
Title participants will participate in one (1) audition class, 60-90 minutes in length. During the audition class, the title participants will be asked to perform a ballet combination and a jazz combination, in front of the judges. The average score will be taken from the judges, with a maximum score of Ten (10) points to be counted along with the competition score. The total score a participant can receive from the three judges is 310 points.
Orientation
There will be an orientation at the first rehearsal with all title participants, explaining audition classes, dance apparel, workshop classes, numbers to be worn, and to be informed that they will be observed in every dance class as well as judged on their behavior and etiquette. Exact date and time to be announced.
Dress Code
Title participants will wear the following for Convention and Audition classes: Ladies: Black Leotard, Tan or Pink Tights & Shoes (Black shorts, or leggings may be worn for convention classes) Men: Black Jazz Pants or Tights, Black Shoes & White T-shirt
Title Rehearsal and Banquet Performance
Title participants will make themselves available for rehearsals all days of the National Events to learn an opening number to be performed at the national banquet award ceremony in the city of participation. Rehearsals are scheduled so they will not interfere with the competition or convention. All title participants are required to participate in title rehearsals and perform at the banquet.
Title Competition
At the National Title Competition, each dancer will take the stage before their performance and introduce themselves. They will state their name, age category that they are competing in, the name of the their entry, the style of their entry and a fun fact about themselves. They will then perform their entry to be adjudicated. At the conclusion of National Title Competition, all Title Contestants will be welcomed on stage for final bow.
Sheer Elite International Crown Court
Selection of the 2023 overall winners for Sheer Elite International will be determined by a panel of Judges who will adjudicate all National Mr. & Ms. in each age level.
